Conditions for obtaining service

  • A certified copy of each of the Civil Status ID / General  secondary Certificate / Academic credentials
  • Certificate of experience from the Ministry of Justice to the Ministry's employees.
  • A professional license issued by the Bar Association, if any.
  • Certificate disease-free from the Ministry of Health.
  • Certificate of non-convictions.

Procedures

  • Fill out the application form.
  • The application and the attached documents shall be verified.
  • Submit the application and documents to the Competition Committee to approve the application.
  • The participant shall sit-in for the written examination, oral examination and personal interview.

Names of the successful participants shall be announced in a list, ordered in the rankof their scores in the exam.

Persons benefiting from the service

  • To be a Jordanian citizen with full civil capacity.
  • Must not be more than forty years old at the date of announcing the competition.
  • Meets the health requirements for the exercise of the judicial function.
  • Not convicted of any turpitude, or any crime such as theft, fraud, abuse of trust or embezzlement or any felony, even if rehabilitated or pardoned.
  • Not sentenced to disciplinary punishment for any disorderly conduct that is contrary to morality, honor and honesty.
  • Has good reputation and conduct.
  • Has an average score in the general secondary certificate in the scientific or literary section of not less or equal to (70%) and have a bachelor’s degree in law with an average assessment not less than“good” from one of the law schools in Jordanian universities or an equivalent certificate in law From one of the law schools at other universities, in which the study is regular and that the certificate issued thereby is acceptable for hiring to the judiciary in the country in which it was issued.
  • To meet one of the following criteria: has served in one of the first category posts in the ministry for three years after obtaining the bachelor’s degree in law, or two years after obtaining a master's degree or one year after receiving a doctorate in law. - An expatriate who has a bachelors’ degree in law or a master's degree in law according to the provisions of the academic scholarships in the Ministry of Justice.
  • Pass the admission competition held by a special committee called the Admission Competition Committee. Those nominated prior to the enforcement of the scholarships regime shall be exempt from passing this competition.

Should not have been dismissed from the Institute for any reason or failure in three admission competitions at the Institute.
